Welcome Message From Latonya
LaTonya
Welcome to our second “Weave Flash”, a newsletter with all the latest news about The Weave Shop and  the hair industry.

I am LaTonya Saunderson, founder and co-owner of The Weave Shop.

I have a passion for hair care and the beauty industry and by building upon a successful idea, the “express weave service”, The Weave Shop was born. I am a licensed cosmetologist since 1994 and want to provide clients with a reasonable and cost effective way to enjoy a great style – to look great for less!

“There is no reason to pay hundreds of dollars for extensions. At The Weave Shop the base price for our service is just $50”.

After opening the doors in a small office space (400sq ft), with myself styling and a braider, we outgrew the space within four months and moved to a larger location in the Atlanta area. With the opening of my 3rd salon in the metro Atlanta area, my brother Kevin and his wife Sharmeela embraced my vision and TWS’s potential and became business partners.

With already 8 locations open across the USA and more opening soon, wanting the see The Weave Shop all over the country is now coming true.

Mission

It is our mission of The Weave Shop to provide quality hair care services at an affordable price, while providing good paying jobs to our employees and enhancing the communities we service.

TWS Tips

It's summer time and the best way to cool off this season is to jump into the
pool, lake or ocean. Don’t  think that just because you wear a weave you can’t get it wet, that is a big myth. Here are some tips to keep your weave looking fabulous, while you are basking in the sun.

beachOur Gold or Platinum Weaves are highly recommended. You will not have to worry about your own hair out at the top if you get a full sew-in weave. This summer a lot of our clients are getting curly or wavy weaves. Women say they feel exotic, emerging from the water with curly locks. It’s harder to tell if you have some tangles with that type of hair, than if you go with straight hair. It is very important to make sure you wash and condition your weave when you get back home or to your hotel room. Leave the conditioner in for a little longer than normal and then give it a good rinse with your head tilted back.

If you’re feeling nervous to jump in the water with your hair down, pull it into a sexy bun and pin it, so when you do come out, you will look like a stunning supermodel.
